During the summer break the new LGBT resource center was being build. On August 27, 2012 the Pride Center was officially open for all CSUN students and was open to anybody that wanted to enter and just visit the center. September 27, 2012 the Pride Center had its Grand Opening were they had a ceremony and speakers.
